If you or someone you love has experienced a pregnancy loss, this site is for you.  Journeys: Stories of Pregnancy After Loss, published by WovenWord Press is a collection of chapter pairs highlighting pregnancy loss and subsequent pregnancy.  Each parent describes the loss experience, his or her grief process, and how they coped through the next anxiety-ridden pregnancy.  We wrote our stories in the hopes of offering companionship and peace to the next family on this journey.

After delivering Solomon still on March 8, 2000, I was overwhelmed with my feelings of grief.  Group counseling leant a kernel of relief, but when group ended I found myself alone, unfocused and sad.  I located the www.SPALS.com website and joined immediately.  I obsessed about becoming pregnant again.  When my next pregnancy ended in miscarriage, I felt my life as a parent would never begin, that I would forever by a childless mother.  A very long and mentally grueling eleven months later, my daughter Alison entered the world.  Nineteen months after, my son Adam.  Now a mother, stepmother and wife, I was busy running a household.  I still felt clouded in sadness and decided to take action.  Journeys: Stories of Pregnancy After Loss is the result.
